North Goonyella Mine Longwall Relocation
DeltaSBD has recently begun a major project at Peabody’s North Goonyella Mine in Central Queensland.
The project comprises project management, labour and equipment hire and involves three phases:
- Longwall pre-installation
- Longwall recovery and transport
- Equipment transport to the surface
Pre-installation work commenced in late November 2008, utilising our longwall move equipment fleet. The project involves around 50 people and will be complete around the end of February 2009.
