DeltaSBD is one of the largest contract companies servicing the Australian underground coal mining industry.

We provide the most extensive range of services and skills available to our clients, who include most of the major coal mining companies.

DeltaSBD was formed in October 2007, through the merger of two of Australia’s leading underground coal mining contractors – Delta Mining Pty Ltd and SBD Services Limited.

Delta Mining Pty Ltd and SBD Services Limited are wholly owned subsidiaries of DeltaSBD Limited.

The company has the financial strength, skills base, experience and equipment to provide outstanding service to the underground coal mining sector.

DeltaSBD provides clients with a large pool of resources (both labour and equipment); cross fertilisation of ideas, systems and techniques; and the ability to attract and retain experienced and qualified management personnel and employees.

DeltaSBD employs a proactive approach to safety. Before we commence a project, we undertake extensive consultation with our client so that we work fully within with their safety, health and environmental policies. To complement our clients’ requirements and to ensure that we recognise the differing needs of each mine, DeltaSBD has also developed its own Safety, Health and Environmental Management plan.

We are proactive in developing new procedures when we undertake new work and have a zero tolerance for breaches of safety rules and procedures.
